Visual Language II builds upon all you learned in Visual Language one and is a course devoted to a two general areas of development: understanding of time and narrative forms through learning the various aspects of video and student’s progress toward a more sustained and independent inquiry into topics of personal interest. The course will include two projects followed by a project of your own choosing. Frequent critiques will be interspersed with presentations of work by contemporary artists in video and other media, looking at work in galleries, and independent in class work time.
